My friends Charlton & Danny’s dog.  He was 4 when I met them, had been the family’s safeguard since he arrived.  Loyal, cheerful, lively, and well-disciplined.

Tiger understood every word you say to him.  "Dinner!"  He’d anxiously run up to you all hyped up.  "Shake", he’d sit and then unhesitantly lift up his right paw.  "Left", he’d quickly switch to his left paw to give you the hand-shake.  He wasn’t trained at all.  Never barked for no reason.  Only when strangers come up to the driveway, that’s when he’ll give the warning both to his family and the strangers.  Well-disciplined.

When he turned 15, he was diagnosed with 4 cancers and later declared untreatable.  He’d start puking blood every now and then.  When he was puking blood, he’d hide himself behind a tree or the garage…But when you call his name, he’d slowly drag himself to you, looking extremely exhausted.  Yet, he’d still try to please the family members and friends that had been taking care of him for years…

A loyal friend that never complained.  Tiger, we will all miss you, the best friend we could ever wish for.
